“Just believe in yourself. Even if you don’t, pretend that you do and, at some point, you will”.
— Venus Williams
Have you ever questioned why you are driven to do some of the things you do? I certainly have.
For years I questioned my character about this exact question. Was it normal to just believe I could do something, anything, even if I don’t have the skill set to do it? Why did I drift toward the spontaneous when I should commit to the long term and spent months preparing? Am I incapable of making a plan and sticking with it for the duration? Am I impulsive? Reckless? Flighty?? Why do I do the things I do?! Seriously, it was enough to keep me up at night.
I’ve come up with an answer. FINALLY. I am finally able to put this in writing and define why I think the way I do. It’s a relief, if I am to put it honestly. Let me pause here and clarify a few things. I am not educated in any sort of Psychology, Sociology, Neuro Science or any other discipline along those lines. I am offering a concept from years of living as Carolyn, the wild wanderer. My intention here is to share and create a space of understanding, compassion and possibly provide some resources, activities and outlets for anyone interested. So here goes…
B-Live is based on the principle that you create your own power from within to have a healthier perspective, make a positive impact on those around you and in essence, affect a global difference. It is a dream, an idea, a thought that you put into action.
